Safeslide™ Entry level Automated Gates

PARAMOUNT, leading in the field of Perimeter Security and Fencing has extended its popular range of Automatic Gates. The range is British made at our Stoke On Trent works, offering reliability and high performance and meeting the demands of the most discerning end user.

Available in widths up to 6.00m and manufactured in heights of 1.8m, 2.0m, 2.1m and 2.4m

Double leaf configurations up to 12.0m wide

In response to industry wide injuries from Automated gates, Paramount have designed a new range of Automated gates where safety is the priority from the initial design. Designed specifically to meet Health & Safety specifications and designed to comply with industry safety standards including-

BS EN 12453 Automated gates and Barriers

BS EN 954-1 Moving machinery (Model A) Only

BS EN 1005 Manual handling regulations (Applies during a mains power failure)

Finish: Galvanised as standard for a long life span, with optional powder coating in any RAL colour.

Delivery: Assembly by the fencing contractor. Offering fast and easy installation

No specialist lifting equipment or knowledge is needed to supply SAFESLIDE™

Ground works: minimal groundwork and low civil costs

Equipped as standard with dual emergency stops, orange flashing beacon and leading edge safety detection

SAFESLIDE™ has been designed to electronically and physically reduce the risk of serious crushing, injuries or entrapment

to a person or child coming into contact with the travelling gate leaf.

The SAFESLIDE™ range also offers a cost effective solution to securing a site where traditional Automatic gates would be cost prohibitive.

Most entry level automated gates installed across the UK use a low end imported drive system which offer limited reliability. Choosing or specifying the SAFESLIDE™ range, benefits end users by utilising the latest unique Paramount designed and manufactured Advanced drive system technology.

Heavy duty top guides provide smooth fast travel, and offer exceptional reliability even in poor weather conditions

Arms or legs from being passed through the travelling leaf. Optional Paramesh 358 is also

available as an alternative to the expanded mesh.

(Cladding options are designed to meet the Moving Machinery Act physical guarding legislation)

*Twin safety beams to prevent closure on vehicles

*Pressure sensitive edges meeting category 3 safety detection standards

*Stops, reverses to clear and then stops to prevent injury after contact with a person
