Highways Agency Headquarters Stage 2 completed
April 2006 has seen the completion of stage two of a four stage project for the Highways Agency. Paramount has completed the installation of an Integrated Intruder and Access Control System, protecting all four floors and perimeter car parks. Paramount was nominated as a specialist contractor to provide a fully integrated security solution, comprising of Intruder and flood alarms, access control, CCTV and Traffic barriers.
The entire solution is fully integrated; and in the event of an activation of any type of alarm or unauthorised entry attempt at a door or barrier, the CCTV in the guard room zooms to the location of the event, providing the security staff with a live view of any type of occurrence. A local security PC also displays maps of the site, graphically demonstrating the precise location of a potential problem.
	Two Way audio help points were installed around the site location, also integrated with the CCTV and connected to the Guard Room. The contract is due to be completed in August 2006.
