Connectors and Switchgear based in Oxford have recently purchased a Paramount automated Industrial swing gate, the company which makes electrical components for Power Stations needed to control high volumes of vehicle traffic into its compound and office area.
Making high ampage bus bars is one key product of the company. With high value metals for making into its various components, theft of the material was a real possibility not only out of hours but within working hours as well.
Paramount were chosen to provide the solution after the customer had examined a number of solutions from other suppliers, but reliability and long life expectancy were essential factors which resulted in the job being awarded to Paramount for use of their proven Power-Arm series of gate operators suggested to be the most reliable within the UK.
	The gate was controlled from the local reception, all drivers and staff are required to report there before being allowed on or off the site.
