Birmingham Industrial Estate Secures 20m wide Entrance- Paramount Super Wide Gates
A Major retail site in Birmingham was presented with the problem of how to secure the site out of working hours, when their entrance spanned a 20m road way. After consultation with the clients architects who specify Paramount gates for applications all over the UK, it was decided to use the Super-Wide Bi-Parting gate. Two gate leafs were provided at 10m road spans, to cover the entire roadway and design was achieved in order to work both gates as a pair.
		The super wide gates are normally supplied to the fire and rescue services, as they open a 6.0m gap large enough for a fire tender in just 7 seconds. The Gates arrived on site by two articulated Lorries; and were lifted into place using a 100 ton crane.
