Stourbridge shopping centre chose paramount
to control access onto the service and unloading area to the shopping centre. |

A Paramount Standard Barrier has been
specified to replace an existing hydraulic barrier which was installed some 3
years previous but had already reached the end of its life due to high
traffic volumes. The client wanted to ensure
the chosen barrier would not suffer the short life span as its previously
installed version, and so the client sought a barrier with proven reliability
which could be chosen for its high standards and reputability by major
clients including the Highways agency. |

A centralised card access system was provided
for use by shop keepers and staff members, along with token readers for use
by deliveries and the local postal sorting office. The project was completed in October 2007,
and resolved parking problems on the area, immediately after it was
installed. |
