Paramount chosen for Scottish and Southern Energy vehicle logistics yard

 

Scottish and Southern Energy's core purpose is to provide the energy people need in a reliable and sustainable way. Their strategy is to deliver sustained growth and investment in, a balanced range of regulated and non-regulated businesses.

To help achieve this, they have plans to invest around £6.7 billion between 2008 and 2013. The principal focus of this investment is renewable energy, but investment is also planned in thermal generation, electricity networks and in other areas.

 

Part of the companies continued expansion involved the creation of a new facilities building in Newbridge near Edinburgh. Paramount has completed a new installation of security and access control systems to protect entry and exit into the newly designed building.
