Paramount High Security Perimeter
systems get deployed for Southern Utility Company |

The UK's
largest water and wastewater services provider has chosen a new perimeter
security system from Paramount to protect one of its secure sites in the south
of England. With the
need to protect the interests of over 13.6 million customers and 5,000
employees the chosen solution needed to be secure and offer proven
reliability. |

|
The Utility
provider also has over 349 sewage treatment works, treating 2,800 million
litres of sewage per day and
over 800,000 manholes which connect into their network. Two
sludge-powered generators and 19 combined heat and power plants generating
437 GWh of renewable
energy. |

|
Paramount
have provided a security upgrade of both physical and electronic security
measures to control legitimate and unauthorised access for the company. The project
was carried out on time, and took 3 months to complete from the initial start
to handover and completion. |
