Paramount Install JVC External CCTV Surveillance
October has been an exceptionally busy month for Paramount site operations division, with the completion of an external four-camera JVC High Resolution Dome Surveillance system.
	The JVC domes are mounted on 8.0m high columns and feature High Resolution Colour imaging 24hrs a day. The images are sent to the monitoring location using a Fibre optic system; as the furthest cameras are some ½ a mile away from the monitoring position.
The Monitoring location control the domes using a keyboard and variable speed joystick, allowing camera selection, preset selection, automatic tours and patrols as well as active motion sensing to changes in the image.
	Strategically placed 400w sodium lights provided nighttime lighting, with dusk until dawn operation. The system was both designed, and installed by Paramount to meet our client’s requirements. The system took 5 Engineers, one week to complete, and has now left the site with an exceptionally high level of security with 24hr recording carried out onto a Digital Recorder.
