Paramount Install new 4 camera “PTZ” Video Surveillance System
October has seen the completion of an upgrade to an existing Paramount Installation in North Derbyshire.
	The installation involved the supply and installation of 4No External full function “PTZ” cameras; which were specified and built to the clients specific requirements in our own workshop. The cameras were fitted with High Resolution, High definition Panasonic Colour to Monochrome cameras installed and assembled with a 10:1 motorised zoom lense. Night illumination was provided by a single 500w wide angle Infrared attached to each camera head. The required range of view was 80 metres; so this enabled us to provide a working solution without the use of a spot Infrared light. Baxall ZTX telemetry system was chosen to control the cameras from two locations using remote operating keyboards connected to a data line. A second upgrade is due to be carried out in March next year with the addition of 5 new cameras, digital recording and video motion detection to alert the security guard to activity on any camera.
