Paramount Secure Industrial Premise in Matlock, Nr Buxton.
March 2004 has seen the final completion of a three-week project in Matlock, Nr Buxton.
	The installation, which was carried, out on an Industrial Premise and was Based on the Paramount ATS, Integrated Security System. The large system was installed onto a data network, which was provided by Paramount. The integrated system provided intruder alarm detection, with 53 zones being monitored by ATS. Key areas of the site were installed with data gathering panels with remote power supplies, this enabled us to connect a large number of powered devices such as Dual Technology detectors and point to point rays to detect an intrusion.
Remote operating keypads were installed in each building connected to the Network on the system, with each keypad controlling its specified area Also included within the integrated system was a proximity card access System, restricting access into key areas to individual group’s of users. The new system is connected to our Operations Centre to provide 24hr support, without the need for a Service Engineer to attend the premises.
	Access onto the complex was controlled by a pair of Paramount Swing gates operated using the industrial 'Power-Arm' series of gate operators. Access onto the estate is via proximity card tags for staff and using a Paramount entry telephone system for visitors. The entry phone was connected to a BT telephone line, which enabled visitor's to call to a number of locations, with some being off-site.
