Control Systems
Paramount offer a range of Access control systems designed for larger clients such as Utility Companies, Industrial Estates, and large PLC’s.
Our Access Control solutions operate in either a standalone format at each site, or with the facility to network them together to a corporate headquarters or a remote control room.
Networking provides larger clients with the facility of remote administration and monitoring, allowing system changes such as adding or deleting cards or users, viewing history logs and routine site changes to be carried out from a central location to multiple sites.
The range can offer control on doors and turnstiles, electric gates and barriers and also provide third party control to the Intruder alarm system. Controlling the alarm through the card access allows the alarm to remain armed, and shunts out an armed door whilst a legitimate user passes through by using their card or keyfob.
Paramount can supply a wide range of user cards, from standard keyfobs to attach to car keys through to Proximity cards which can be thermally printed as an identity card with the card holder’s details and photograph.
Our access control will operate with both short and long range proximity readers, swipe cards, biometric fingerprints, and pin/codepad.
We can also provide a reader which requires both a card and pin code to prevent use without having access to both the card and the coded keypads four or six digit code.
The access system can control up to 10,000 users and 64 doors with the facility to expand further with additional equipment.
We can provide a number of options for PC monitoring and control, allowing a security guard to monitor the system, and observe the users photographs on screen as the card is presented to a door or gate around the protected site.
Paramount design site specific solutions, including the use of maps and 3D site plans, with optional live CCTV interfaces.
Using the CCTV interface allows a live window from a local CCTV camera to be displayed on a door or gate as it is operated by a user passing through.
