Sliding Security Gates Series 1.

The Paramount Series 1 Sliding Gates are manufactured in either tracked or Canti-lever Format. Both formats use heavy-duty steel sections designed to withstand an impact from a Potential Intruder.

Our Canti-lever range offers advantages over conventional tracked gates; they are ideal for bridging uneven road surfaces, railway lines or even harbour entrances, on road widths between 2.0 and 8.0metres, and 1.0m to 3.0m high.

The Paramount Series 1 Is ahead of other automated gates with many features, which make the gate truly unique, and an aesthetic solution to any security issue, regardless of all types of premises in need of protection.

The gate leaf slides at an impressive 300mm per second, whilst it is travelling in both the open and closing cycles the drive system continuously monitors the gate leaf. The gate reverses or stops should it come into contact with an object, person or vehicle complying with the latest European Safety requirements.

A highly reliable chain driven propulsion system operates the gate with smooth, quiet precision and exceptional reliability making the Series 1 a popular choice of many Architects, Police forces and Local authorities.

SYSTEM FEATURES

· Twin infrared safety beams, preventing closure onto vehicles. The twin beam is immune to snow, fog and frosting, providing secure reliable detection.

· Manual hand crank, for use in a power failure.

· The Gantry and gate leaf are fully galvanised as standard.

· Interface with an Intruder alarm system, our control system provides outputs to indicate the gate has been forced open and not opened legitimately.

· Anti-Tamper Siren, built into our series 1 gates which sounds if the gate is tampered with.

· Three drive options, with differing duty cycle ratings.

INFILL OPTIONS

Tubular Steel, Box Steel Section, Vertical Bar, Palisade and most mesh systems can be accommodated.

GENERAL OPTIONS

Power back up inverter, a popular choice on Fire Stations, Police Stations, and any location where access is essential. The inverter operates within our drive system, and can provide seamless operation should the mains power fail allowing the gate to operate up to 10 times of normal operation. Alternatively the system can be configured to open the gate immediately upon a power failure and hold it open until the mains are restored

	Anti-Tail gate facility, using induction loops in the road surface the Anti-Tail gate facility makes it harder for vehicles to Tailgate into a secure area.

SLIDING SECURITY GATES – SERIES 2-SG2

The Paramount Series 2 Canti-lever sliding gates are designed for maximum resistance to the determined intruder, whether on foot or in a vehicle. The gate has been specifically designed for use on high security sites such as Bonded Warehouses, Cash transfer stations and premises requiring the highest level of protection.

The Series 2 gate is available for road widths between 5.0 and 10.0metres, and 1.8 to 3.0 metres tall.

The gate leaf slides at an impressive 250mm per second, whilst it is travelling in both the open and closing cycles, the drive system continuously monitors the gate leaf. Should the gate impact a solid obstruction the gate will stop, complying with the latest European Safety requirements.

The Series 2 operates with a chain drive system, similar to the Series 1 sliding gate and is a popular choice of high end, high security or sensitive sites.

Gate Tracker our Series 2 Drive Systems offers what we believe to be a unique facility. Our operator integrates with PC Based security systems used to monitor Prisons, Oil Refineries etc. The gate tracker not only shows the exact position of the gate on the PC using a progress bar but also offers many other features.

The system uses RS232 to the PC serial port and requires Paramount software.

It also reports: -

a) Gate failed to close.

b) Gate forced, or attempted force entry.

c) Mains failure.

d) Local override.

e) Attempt to climb the gate.

f) Gate Jammed.

g) Tampering with the Control / PLC Cabinet.

Infill Options

The series 2 gates can be infilled with any of the following options at your choice- Solid Steel Sheet, Most Mesh Systems, Electric Fencing and Palisade.
