The Paramount Series 4 Sliding Gates are manufactured in either tracked or Canti-lever Format. Both formats use heavy-duty steel sections designed to withstand an impact from a Potential Intruder. Our Canti-lever range offers advantages over conventional tracked gates; they are ideal for bridging uneven road surfaces, railway lines or even harbour entrances, on road widths between 2.0 and 10.0metres, and 1.0m to 3.0m high. The Paramount Series 4 Is ahead of other automated gates with many features, which make the gate truly unique, and an aesthetic solution to any security issue, regardless of the type of premises requiring protection. Our Type 4 range is fully
welded in one construction, and contains no bolted together sections. This
minimizes the risk of injury should a vehicle collide with the gate, with no
bolts to shear the leaf, remains as one constructional section. |

The
gate leaf slides at an impressive 300mm per second, whilst it is travelling in
both the open and closing cycles the drive system continuously monitors the
gate leaf. The gate reverses or stops should it come into contact with an
object, person or vehicle complying with the latest European Safety
requirements. A highly reliable chain driven propulsion system operates the
gate with smooth, quiet precision and exceptional reliability making the
Series 4 a popular choice of many Architects, Police forces and Local
authorities. |

Our Free standing support gantry has been designed to lift the gate into position in one Operation, offering fast and simple installation. The proven drive system is capable of up to 65 operations per hour. |

GATE
LEAF INFILL OPTIONS Tubular Steel, Box Steel Section, Vertical Bar, Palisade and most mesh systems can be accommodated. Due to safety legislation we provide all of our gates with a protection mesh installed behind any vertical cladding. This protection measure prevents a person from inserting arms or limbs through the travelling gate leaf. |

POWER FAILURE OPTION Our
Optional Power back up inverter, is a popular choice on Fire Stations, Police
Stations, and any location where access is essential. The inverter operates
within our drive system, and can provide seamless operation should the mains
power fail allowing the gate to operate up to 10 times of normal operation.
Alternatively the system can be configured to open the gate immediately upon
a power failure and hold it open until the mains are restored. SYSTEM FEATURES Ø Optional- Anti-Tail gate facility. Ø Twin infrared safety beams, preventing closure onto vehicles. Ø The twin beam is immune to snow, fog and frosting, providing secure reliable detection. Ø Manual hand crank, for use in a power failure. Ø The Support Gantry and Gate leaf are fully hot dipped galvanised. Ø Optional- Anti-Tamper Siren, built into our series 4 gates which sounds if the gate is tampered with. Ø Connect intruder alarms directly to our intelligent controller, providing you with remote Notification of any attempt to force the gate open. Ø Local Emergency stop buttons. Ø Long Life Orange Flashing beacon reduces maintenance and complies with safety legislation. Ø Drive chain protection increases the operating life span and reduces maintenance costs. Ø Optional Advanced Safety Intelligence- Our purpose designed gate controller prevents accidental crushing of persons around the working area of a remotely controlled automatic gate. The intelligent controller determines which direction the gate is travelling in, and should a person come into contact with gate or gantry the moving part of the gate will reverse in the opposite direction by 50mm and then stop preventing serious injury. A local sounder can be programmed to sound, warning anyone to move away from the gate. Our Intelligent anti-crush design has been developed to exceed modern safety legislation standards. Ø Optional- Powder Coating in any RAL colour of your specification. |

Ø Optional- Moving machinery Act approved compliant category3 detection devices are installed on our remotely operated gate ranges and are optional on our automated dead man controlled gates. The detection also features a safety crush prevention zone after detection, further minimizing any accidental injury. |
